Our Mission

We help Americans who worry that they don’t have an estate legal plan in place to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Paul Rabalais discovered the benefits of estate planning at the age of eight, when his grandmother passed away and left Paul shares of stock. Paul leveraged this legacy to earn his law degree, and then his Masters degree in Tax Law from Boston University School of Law. Since 1991, Paul has provided estate planning legal services to thousands of clients.

Paul is America’s leading educator on estate planning through his estate planning YouTube channel which has hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Paul and his attorney-colleagues founded America’s Estate Planning Lawyers and its national co-counsel network of estate planning attorneys to be able to provide modern and consistent estate planning legal services to all Americans.

As a client of America’s Estate Planning Lawyers (AEPL), your estate matters will be thorough yet simple for you & your closest loved ones:

  • It starts with your Estate Planning Design Meeting, a video meeting that you can participate in from your home or office, led by an experienced AEPL attorney who is trained to guide you to uncover estate planning issues that are most important to you and your family, followed by guiding you through making the important estate planning decisions to ensure that current and future estate matters are handled exactly as you intend. AEPL has structured it’s business so that no one ever incurs a legal expense for their Estate Planning Design Meeting - AEPL absorbs the cost of what may be the most important and valuable discussion you ever have with an attorney or professional advisor. At the conclusion of this Estate Planning Design Meeting, you will discover what any reasonable fixed legal expense would be to work with AEPL to build and customize your estate plan. Clients often tell us at the conclusion of their Design Meeting that they feel great knowing that they have taken the important first step of ensuring that all legal affairs are in order and their legacy is secure.

  • Once you retain AEPL, you will receive your secure client portal where you and AEPL will be able to store and maintain an up-to-date inventory of estate assets, upload relevant estate documents, and download and view drafts and scans of estate planning documents. Your permanent secure client portal naturally stores family and estate data that gets entered, allow you to leave your portal and come back later to continue where you previously left off. This results in a much-improved client experience, and it provides one place where your power of attorney agents, executors, and trustees can go to find all relevant estate information at the tip of their fingertips. Your AEPL client portal will create a situation in the future where your survivors will be amazed at how organized your estate is, as opposed to the frustration that so many survivors face from an estate where legal documents, critical asset descriptions, and other important estate information is scattered all over the place.

  • Once your estate planning documents are customized and reviewed by an AEPL attorney licensed in your state of residence, you’ll conduct your Review Meeting with an AEPL attorney to ensure that all estate planning documents are exactly what you need to have the peace of mind that your estate is in order. After the Review Meeting, your estate planning documents will be shipped to you in your organized and tabbed Estate Planning Portfolio three-ring binder so that you can make them official through a local notary.

  • If your life circumstances change after creating your estate plan, simply contact AEPL in order to make any necessary amendment to your estate plan at our reasonable attorney and paralegal hourly rates.
